Katheryn Sullivan
During the course of this summer, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Westmoreland County Museum, Library and Visitor’s Center. Not only did I get the free perks of being ‘the intern,’ I got to meet local artists and see some amazing talent, all while making new friends and acquaintances.
Being able to work at the Museum will be one of my more memorable times. Hopefully, I have made the same impact on all of those at the museum as they have made on me. Thank you to all who made it possible for me to be with you this summer.
Katheryn served as the sole photographer for the museum’s monthly “Art & Wine” artist reception for model boat building historian, Melvin Foxwell. She also took beautiful photographs of historical sites for the museum’s social media quiz and our Christmas ornament. Katheryn also re-organized and catalogued in “Past Perfect” nearly 650 books from our Library as well as numerous artifacts in our archives. She created an effective organizational system for the museum and library.
