Summer Internship:
Days at the Museum

Tamysinae Brown looking through a box of artifacts in Westmoreland County Museum
“Interning at the museum was wonderful.
I became friends with Brianna, Darlene,
and Walter.” [Staffers at the Museum]
“They made me feel welcome on my very
first day and everyday after that! I
worked at the museum 2 days a week
(Wednesday and Friday) going through
the artifacts and matching it with the
files or going through rare books and
separating them into different spaces.”
“It is hard work working in a museum,
especially one that’s planning a move
across the road [to the Courthouse].”
“The artifacts are beautiful, amazing
and absolutely breathtaking. It
was the best shadowing Darlene
and Brianna in seeing their daily
perspective on their museum life.”
