Donate Historical Items

We are always looking to add photographs, yearbooks, and any information of people, places, businesses, and homes of Westmoreland County to our Library and Collections. We are happy to make photocopies and scan any items and return the originals to you on the spot. If you have written a family history that relates to people who resided in Westmoreland County, we are interested in adding a copy to our collections.

We also accept Deeds of Gift of items relating to Westmoreland County. Contact our Museum at wcmuseum@verison.net or (804) 493-8440 to schedule an appointment to review the items and conditions for the Deed of Gift. We do not accept drop-offs of items. We have a small archival space, and only accept items from or with a close relation to Westmoreland County that we can utilize in our exhibits or that align without long term collections management plan.
