In Memoriam

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our board member, Wayne Shields. We have truly enjoyed his fellowship and expertise. He will be greatly missed. Our condolences to his family and friends.

In the Courthouse

Thank you to the Westmoreland Volunteer Fire Department (WVFD) for loaning items to the museum for our exhibit honoring their 75 years of service.

Thanks to our library staff, Rosemary and Kayla, for all their hard work on this exhibit. It will be up for a few more weeks if you would like to see the exhibit.

Thanks to everyone who helped us decorate for fall festival. A big thank you to Dana of Garner's Produce for donating the haybales, corn stalks, and pumpkins for the Wakefield Building and the Historic Courthouse. (You've been so generous!) Thank you to Rebecca of Murphy Seed for the beautiful mums at the Wakefield Building. They were the perfect color for the fire theme.

We also want to thank Eileen Scholar and Kathy Mapp for their hard work on the decorations for the Wakefield Building. We know you both put in a lot of your artistic talent, and we really appreciate all of your creativity!

Thanks to our volunteers: Leslie and Rick. They helped steup for the Garden Club's 90th Birthday Party; they helped with the chairs for Mr. Bish's presentation at the Wakefield Building. They also help run things at the Historic Courthouse. This couple is so wonderful. We appreciate all their help.

A Big thanks to Tomeka, Sheba, and Tim (not pictured) for moving the haybales and corn stalks from Garner's to our buildings. You all were fantastic.

Thanks to Garner's Produce for generously donating the pumpkins and corn stalks at the Courthouse. Thanks to Time Hinson for the mums in front. Thanks Susan for donating the leaf garlands and other supplies that filled out the display.
